In 1977 Jim established Enchanted Sound & Video in St. Clairsville, Ohio which focused strictly on concert sound reinforcement. As times, needs and technologies evolved, Enchanted Sound changed with them. He returned to his first love, media creation, in 1983 when Enchanted Sound became Enchanted Sound & Video. In 1994, with the direction of the company moving almost exclusively toward more video production and computer support, the name of the company changed to ESV Teleproductions, but the original name of the company was retained, a homage to Jim's past. His parents owned and operated the Enchanted Isle Hotel in Hollywood, Florida when Jim was a young boy.

Jim established the business at 145 West Main Street and due to the need for more space moved to 159 East Main Street in 2000.

ESV Teleproductions is the oldest multi-media production company in the upper Ohio Valley.

Opened in 1977 as a sound re-enforcement company. We converted completely to video production in 1984.

In 2007 we converted to full HD production with Panasonic P2HD broadcast quality equipment and Apple® FinalCut X Editing bays. 2022 brought the addition of Panasonic Varicam 4K Cinema  equipment. We can meet Netflix certified production standards.  We have a dolly, a 22' camera crane, live Point to Point and internet HD video streaming and portable lighting as well. A sophisticated blend of experience, talent and equipment give the customer a unique opportunity to tell the story. We do everything from documentaries and commercials to personal events.
